Imagination Club – Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

1. Introduction

This Fair Usage Policy (“FUP”) applies to membership in the Imagination Club, an unlimited visit subscription offered by Pure Imagination Play Centre. The Imagination Club provides members with monthly access to unlimited visits for adults and children (membership options and prices vary).

Our goal is to ensure that all members enjoy the benefits of the Imagination Club while protecting the quality, safety, and availability of sessions for all members and guests.

2. What “Unlimited” Means

While the Imagination Club offers unlimited monthly access to sessions, “unlimited” does not mean unrestricted or abusive usage. Members are entitled to attend as many sessions as they reasonably can within normal operating hours and capacity constraints.

3. Acceptable (Fair) Usage

Usage is considered fair if it:

• Is in line with the spirit of regular family play visits and child development play sessions.
  
  

• Takes place during approved session times (booked in advance, subject to availability).
  
  

• Does not unfairly block other members from booking popular time slots.
  
  

• Does not involve repeated no-shows or cancellations for booked sessions.

Note: Even with membership, booking is still required for each session — membership alone does not guarantee a session spot.

4. Unfair or Excessive Use

The following behaviours are considered unfair usage and may be subject to review or action:

a. Excessive Back-to-Back Bookings
Booking multiple sessions back to back without a reasonable break, planning to occupy centre resources in a way that limits others’ ability to book.

b. Persistent Last-Minute Cancellations or No-Shows
Frequently cancelling booked sessions at short notice, or not attending booked sessions, which prevents others from using the space.

c. Booking More Sessions Than Can Be Reasonably Attended
Making an excessive number of session bookings simultaneously that a member realistically cannot attend.

d. Sharing Membership Codes
Membership codes must be used only by the member and their registered adult/child combination — sharing codes with others is prohibited.

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

We may monitor booking and attendance patterns to ensure:

• There is fair access to sessions for all members.
  
  

• Session bookings reflect reasonable play patterns for families.
  
  

If your usage appears to substantially limit other members’ booking opportunities, we will contact you to discuss your usage and recommend adjustments.

6. Actions We May Take

If a member’s usage is determined to be unfair or abusive, we may take one or more of the following actions:

1. Friendly notification and guidance: Contacting you with a request to adjust your booking patterns.
   
   

2. Booking restrictions: Temporarily limiting the number of active session bookings.
   
   

3. Suspension of membership: Pausing or suspending membership for repeated or severe abuse of the policy.
   
   

4. Termination: Cancelling the Imagination Club membership in persistent cases where an agreement cannot be reached.
   
   

Where possible, we aim to resolve concerns through communication first.

7. Membership Terms

This policy supplements the existing Imagination Club Terms & Conditions, including:

• Payments are taken monthly and must be maintained on time.
  
  

• Cancellations or pauses do not entitle members to refunds for the current month.
  
  

• Membership codes and accounts are non-transferable and cannot be shared.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in usage patterns, service availability, or membership structure. Revised versions will be published and communicated to members.
